  • If you’re arriving via the the A31, exit at the Burley junction, drive to Burley centre and turn right at the fork in the road onto Pound Lane. Drive through the forest and continue on this road for approximately 3 miles until you see The Carpenters Arms on your right. From the A35, take the turning to Bransgore at the Cat & Fiddle Junction. Continue on this road until you reach the crossroads in the centre of the village. Turn left at the crossroads and The Carpenters Arms can be found on your right after half a mile. The New Forest National Park is a haven for outdoor explorers, with all manner of flora and fauna to discove, but due to the pub’s great location on the South Western tip of the New Forest, it’s just a few miles from the coast too.

There are a number of award-winning beaches nearby promising a great family day out, or you could take the kids to the Alice in Wonderland theme park.
